Cindy & Richard had an intimate ceremony in Parson’s Gardens on Queen Anne Hill. The day was perfect for them. Cloudy when it got too hot, sunny as they said their vows. Both wore an amazing white orchid to celebrate their Hawaiian theme. They had wonderful Hawaiian music being played on a guitar with accompanying vocals. After nine years together, they chose to get married at a park near where they used to live and take walks daily. Their ceremony had many amazing details in it: everyone sat in a circle surrounding the couple in love. They stood on a pile of white rose petals. Each guest was a family member, and on each person’s chair was a branch of orchids, which Cindy circled around and picked up one from each guest to create her bouquet. How original! The family members also passed around their rings, allowing each person to infuse love into them for the happy couple. The ceremony was led by Kent Buttars of A Heavenly Ceremony. Have fun on Oahu, and don’t forget to go to Pacific Island Grill in Federal Way when you get back!
