July 3rd was by far one of my longest, most favoritest (funny word) weddings this year so far. I met Tuan early in the morning for the first time, and was greeted with a huge hug! What a way to welcome me
Sara got ready at the church where her parents were married, Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Portland, OR. She had the most amazing dress. Even better, she got it from Brides Against Breast Cancer (a subject which is close to my heart.) We spent the morning at a rose garden near the church, and the sun flitted in and out of the clouds all day. We met an amazing wedding party, and adorable flower girls, rings bearers, and junior bridesmaids. After a ceremony with heartfelt stories and loving songs and passages, we detoured to some cool waterfalls in downtown Portland. The day ended across the bridge at The Double Tree where the reception was held. What a party too! Sara and her dad wowed the crowd with their dance, many powerfully emotional speeches were given, and Sara’s dad sang to her. I left hours before the dancing would end, and a few thousand images later. Thank you both for letting me play such a special role in your wedding day!
This wedding was shot for Events With Integrity.
