I was employed with the fun job of photographing the buildings and trucks for Pilot Freight Services and TCS, located in Kent, WA. The original game plan was to recreate an image that was taken back in 1993 of four pilot trucks driving along on I-5, to be hung next to the original image. This game plan evolved into an awesome collaboration of numerous images, many ideas, and a few drive-by’s of five trucks.
Below is the final image, which now hangs inside Pilot’s lobby, along with the current and older version of the trucks by themselves driving on I-5. The image with the ten trucks driving north and south bound is actually made from over four images seamlessly merged together. The final print, a 24×36 mounted on foamboard, looks amazing on the wall.
